Cheryl Cusack

Cheryl’s most recent work experience is with Manitoba Health, Seniors & Active Living, where she has been in the role of acting executive director and senior public health nursing practice advisor and provincial practice leader. Past work experiences include teaching in Bachelor of Nursing and registered psychiatric nursing programs; nursing management; regional and government public health and nursing leadership; and direct care. Cheryl holds an inter-disciplinary PhD and a Master of Nursing. Professional and research interests include nursing role advancement, health equity, public health workforce development, and inter-professional collaboration. Cheryl is a long-standing member of the Community Health Nurses of Canada (CHNC). She is the current president, and has held positions on the board as treasurer, provincial representative, and chaired multiple CHNC standing committees.

Lisa is an experienced marketing and communications professional with a background in public relations, social media, website, design, and event and project management. She has diplomas from the University of Winnipeg in marketing management and public relations. Before joining the Association, she worked in a variety of marketing and administrative roles in both private and non-profit organizations. Lisa enjoys volunteering and has been involved with multiple organizations in a variety of roles from fundraising chair to sponsorship coordinator.

Alyson Pile

Alyson is an experienced communications professional with a background in public relations, social media, website, design, and event and project management. She has a Bachelor of Communications from the University of Winnipeg and a Creative Communications Diploma from Red River College. Prior to joining the Association, she worked in a variety of roles in healthcare, government and non-profit. Alyson enjoys volunteering and has been involved with multiple organizations in a variety of roles from board member to coach.

Maddison has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Memorial University of Newfoundland and has spent most of her career in the non-profit sector serving in community and social services organizations. She is passionate about helping others and supporting those who care for their community. Having lived in four different provinces, Maddison has experienced how each community is unique in its own way, however one thing remains the same – communities thrive when each member is supported to be the best version of themselves.
