High-Risk Foot, Level I.
A three-hour online (synchronous, “live”) workshop developing the specialized knowledge and skills to assess and manage high-risk conditions of the foot and lower limb. For RNs, LPNs, foot care nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and all who care for clients with high risk.
Topics include: pathophysiology and disease of the lower leg, clinical presentations, assessment skills (including Doppler and ABPI), wound and disease management, client and family education.
Learn in collaboration with an expert instructor and your peers through discussion, slide presentations, videos, preparatory readings, in-class case studies, and resources for further developing hands-on assessment and management skills.
