Megan Scott

RN(AP), BN

Megan Scott is a RN(AP) in Brandon working as a PATHS nurse (Program to Access Treatment for HIV and Supports), a new program brought to Prairie Mountain Health by the Manitoba HIV Program in 2024. 

Megan developed a passion for community nursing while working in Public Health in Brandon, where she quickly realized how important it is to be able to meet clients where they are at in their healthcare journey. Prior to becoming a registered nurse, Megan worked as a licensed practical nurse for three years in a rural acute/long-term care setting. She pursued her Bachelor of Nursing degree with the goal of focusing on community nursing and creating a more holistic approach to how she cares for her clients. In 2024 Megan completed her Authorized Prescriber - STBBI through Red River College to make sexual and reproductive more accessible to her clients amidst physician shortages. Megan has always been committed to being a leader and a positive influence on her peers. She prides herself in helping others to receive the healthcare everyone deserves.
