ARNM Administers Manitoba Nursing Scholarships

Exciting news for Manitoba nurses! The Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) is now the central hub for all nursing scholarships previously administered by the Foundation for Registered Nurses of Manitoba (FRNM). This change ensures a single, easy-to-access location for scholarship applications, eligibility criteria, and award information.

Applications for ARNM scholarships are open February 1 – March 31 and support a wide range of professional development opportunities, including Baccalaureate Nursing education, certification courses, and several named awards. These scholarships continue a long-standing commitment to advancing the education and professional growth of nurses across Manitoba.

“We’re thrilled to bring the nursing scholarships under ARNM,” said Joyce Kristjansson, Executive Director of ARNM. “This centralized process will make it easier for nurses to find the support they need for their professional development and career advancement.”

“These scholarships have long played an important role in supporting nurses across Manitoba,” said Shellie Anderson, Chair of the ARNM Scholarship Committee and former President of the Foundation for Registered Nurses of Manitoba (FRNM). “I’m proud to see this work continue under ARNM’s leadership, ensuring ongoing support for nurses’ education and professional growth.”
