ARNM Connects with New Nurses at New Grad Day 2026

New Grad Day 2026

On Friday, April 24, ARNM - Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba participated as an exhibitor at New Grad Day for Nurses in Winnipeg - an annual event supporting nurses as they transition into practice.

Hosted by Winnipeg Regional Health Authority and Shared Health Manitoba, the event welcomed Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPNs) who are in their first 12–18 months of practice or completing their senior practicum.

Throughout the day, ARNM connected with attendees at our exhibitor booth, where early career nurses stopped by to learn more about available supports, ask questions, and explore resources to help them navigate the transition into practice. The level of engagement and interest highlighted just how important these conversations are during the early stages of a nursing career.

New Grad Day also featured educational sessions focused on building confidence, strengthening clinical practice, and prioritizing self-care - all key elements in supporting a successful transition into the profession.

ARNM is proud to support Manitoba’s newest nurses and to be part of events that foster connection, confidence, and community across the profession.
