ARNM marks National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is Monday, September 30th.
As an organization, ARNM is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive community, and we invite you to join us in our commitment to Truth and Reconciliation.
We recognize the importance of honoring and celebrating the cultures, voices, experiences, and stories of First Nations, Inuit, and Metis peoples.
ARNM is actively engaging with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities and understand that listening to the experiences and stories of Indigenous peoples is crucial in building strong relationships and enhancing the nursing profession. To this end, ARNM is taking steps to incorporate Indigenous voices into our initiatives and programs.
We believe that meaningful conversations are essential in promoting understanding and respect within our nursing community and that’s one of the things we hope to do within our Talk Tuesday sessions and other programs.
By engaging in these conversations, we not only enrich our own perspectives but also empower one another to advocate for social justice and inclusivity in health care.
We encourage each of you to share your experiences and stories, as your unique voices contribute to a stronger, more unified, vibrant, and impactful profession.
If you have any questions, comments, or would like to share your experiences and stories – please email us at info@arnm.ca.
Together, we can pave the way for a more inclusive future in nursing, where every voice is valued and celebrated. Thank you for being a part of this important journey!
ARNM is also pleased to hear confirmation of the inclusion of health services in the redevelopment of Portage Place, made possible through the collaboration and partnership between the Manitoba Government, Southern Chiefs' Organization, and True North Real Estate Development.
