ARNM Past President Ken Borce Named Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Nursing
The Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) is proud to share that Past President Ken N. Borce, RN, MBA has been named a 2025 Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Nursing (FCAN) by the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA).
The Fellowship program is one of the highest recognitions in Canadian nursing. It honours nurses who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, sustained impact, and a deep commitment to advancing the profession and improving health systems.
Ken’s induction as a Fellow acknowledges his exemplary leadership within Manitoba’s nursing community, his contributions to health-care policy and governance, and his dedication to building a strong and united voice for nursing across the province and beyond.
“Being named a Fellow of the Academy is a profound recognition of leadership and influence in Canadian nursing,” said Sally Thorne, chair of the Canadian Academy of Nursing advisory council.
Ken will be officially inducted at the CNA’s virtual ceremony on October 29, 2025, from 16:00–18:00 ET, where he will be celebrated alongside 15 other new Fellows and this year’s CNA award recipients.
ARNM congratulates Ken on this outstanding achievement and thanks him for his lasting contributions to the nursing profession.
