Manitoba Health Releases Nurse-Patient Ratio Committee Report

Manitoba Health has released the report of the Nurse-Patient Ratio Committee.
The report's recommendations will serve as a starting point for service delivery organizations and facilities as they consider how nurse-patient ratios may be applied in different practice settings and what additional resources may be required to support implementation.
More information is expected in the coming months as these recommendations are reviewed and discussed at the site and organizational level.
ARNM will continue to advocate for the involvement of nurses of all designations and titles in these discussions to help ensure decisions reflect the realities of nursing practice across Manitoba.
